Guide
Private family photo sharing guide
Set a sharing routine that keeps family photos understandable, easy to find, and visible to the people you choose.
Share close to the moment
A short update from a soccer game, Sunday dinner, or school concert is easier to appreciate when it arrives while the memory is fresh.
Give photos context
Captions, comments, and related events turn a camera roll into a family story that can still make sense years later.
Choose privacy deliberately
Keep family photos behind invitation-only access and make it clear who can see, save, or share them.

Example: a photo-sharing agreement your family can adapt
“We share everyday photos in our invited family space. Before posting a child’s full name, school, location, or a sensitive moment, ask the parent or person pictured. Do not repost family photos publicly without permission. Add a short caption and keep the original file backed up separately.”
Decide who can invite new members and how someone can ask for a photo to be removed. Revisit the agreement when relatives or circumstances change.
