Use Ohana Chat with care.

These Terms govern use of Ohana Chat Family Spaces and related services in the United States. Ohana Chat is operated by Good People Club, LLC (“Ohana Chat,” “we,” “us”). They are consumer-facing terms, and mandatory consumer rights are not waived.

Eligibility and family responsibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create or manage an independent Ohana Chat account. Parents and guardians may share content about younger children, but children under 13 may not create or manage independent accounts. Do not create an account for someone else without authority.

Accounts and invitations

Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and report misuse. Invitation links are private credentials; share them only with trusted relatives. Family organizers are responsible for membership, roles, and access.

Your family content

You keep ownership of the posts, photos, comments, recipes, videos, events, journals, and other content you submit. You grant Ohana Chat a limited license to host, store, adapt for technical delivery, display, transmit, back up, secure, and process it only to operate and improve the service for the audiences you authorize. Share only content and images you have permission to share.

Public stories and testimonials

Stories, testimonials, photographs, or recordings submitted to story@ohanachat.app are considered for publication only after we request appropriate permission or a separate release. That permission may cover reasonable editing, attribution, and the publication channels described before publication. Do not submit a minor’s story or image without authority. Contact ceo@ohanachat.app to request that future publication stop; material already distributed or preserved by others may not be fully retractable.

Acceptable use and safety

Do not use Ohana Chat for unlawful, abusive, threatening, deceptive, discriminatory, or harmful activity; unauthorized access, scraping, or disclosure; malware or security interference; impersonation; reverse engineering; resale; or exposing another person’s private information. Report abuse, child-safety concerns, intimate images, or security issues to ceo@ohanachat.app. We may remove content or restrict accounts where necessary.

Privacy and business use

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account information, family content, children’s information, cookies, service providers, rights requests, public submissions, and deletion. Ohana Chat is intended primarily for personal and family use. A business or organization must contact us before using Ohana Chat to process personal information on behalf of another person or organization so we can determine whether a separate data-processing agreement or security terms are required.

Availability and termination

Features may change, pause, or stop. We do not promise a specific uptime or support response time unless we agree otherwise in writing. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security concerns, legal obligations, or service discontinuation. Account deletion happens right away and can’t be undone. Shared family content may remain available to other authorized members, and limited records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy or required by law.

Third parties, fees, and affiliates

Authentication, hosting, storage, video, email, maps, analytics, retailers, and partner offers may be provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy notices. The current family service has no required subscription fee. If paid features are introduced, we will provide price, billing, renewal, cancellation, refund, and tax terms before charging. Some Shop links may be affiliate links through which Ohana Chat earns a commission. As an Amazon Associate, Ohana Chat earns from qualifying purchases. When an amazon.com link appears in a post or chat message, the app may add our Associates tag when someone opens it; the text you wrote is not changed and the price does not change.

Intellectual property and copyright

Ohana Chat owns the service, software, branding, original interface designs, documentation, and related materials. These Terms do not transfer those rights. If you believe hosted content infringes your copyright or another legal right, contact ceo@ohanachat.app with enough information for us to investigate; we may remove or restrict content and provide any legally required response or appeal process.

Disclaimers, liability, and disputes

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Do not use it as your only copy of critical information or as emergency, medical, legal, or financial advice. Any liability limits, exclusions, or indemnities are subject to mandatory consumer law.

These Terms are governed by Utah law. Unless mandatory consumer law requires another forum, court proceedings must be brought in state or federal courts located in Utah. Before filing a non-emergency claim, send notice to ceo@ohanachat.app and allow 30 days for a response. This does not prevent small-claims actions, urgent relief, government reports, or any remedy that cannot legally be restricted. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.

We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. We will post the updated Terms and effective date, with additional notice when required.
